@JustinoFundido The sad part is it’s true there Freaking Nazi’s some farmer had some Monsanto seeds spill onto his property at the end of the road from a truck which grow and Monsanto tried suing him it was in some documentary I don’t think they won the lawsuit tho thank God or the flying spaghetti monster….!
I bet those are Monsanto seeds. Don’t let Monsanto know your making fuel out of their seeds. They will claim they own the fuel.
Ilike this guy, he knows his history, ive been telling people about this for years
question what about coconut oils? my parrent run a diesle in an area where coconuts are readily available
@72fr250 yep. u can even mix a little gas w it just to keep it hot. about a half gallon to 20 gallons of veggie
Great explanation, if you arent a teacher, you should be!
OR just mix HALF vegetable oil, and HALF Diesel fuel and just skip all this complicated crap
i know bio is about 2 mpg under diesel but how does svo fare?
coconut oil is the best…..been tested, and so is palm oil……beats the hell out of soybean, peanut, canola and olive oil.
Still many drivers living and driving in hot climates do use SVO in their diesel engines and state they have no problems for many 1000s of kilometers.
However for most diesel engines out there, the ideal fuel is biodiesel which is simply oil without its glycerin (subtracted by the process of transesterification, a process you can do at home if you can take a care a bit of your work and take 1-2 precautions).
Biodiesel is the best fuel you can put on your diesel, far above petroleum diesel
@MrSuPeRsLy21 Is your Camry a diesel? Then yes. BUT if you use straight veggie oil then you have to make sure your injections will tolerate it. As the video tells you nicely, the straight oil is viscous especially in low temperatures and as such most modern cars’ systems do have problems. Also something not mentioned often is that engine wear with straight oil is pronounced – ideally an engine must be wholy designed for straight oil but unfortunately no manufacturer wants to do that.
So aside from all the mumbo jumbo, if i walk up to my toyota camry with a gallon of vege oil, im gonna make it down the street, or what?
@FlanneltheNerfer i think its:
Mixing Biodiesel (Part 2) | Bio Diesel Fuel Production
i get it now. this vid cleared it up for me
HEMP SEED OIL ….
@000eMan000 I’m no expert but I’ve seen fuel line heaters that work well. It heats the oil inside the fuel line on its way from the tank to the injectors.
I run my diesel rabbit on 75% heating oil and 25% used engine oil (contains some ATF and Brake fluids too). Been running since 4 years now without any problems. No significant smoke or anything other like that.
@FlanneltheNerfer The next in the series is “The Chemistry of Biodiesel (Part 1)”
